Job Description


The Senior Relationship Manager will be responsible for effectively increasing the scale of the Bank\'s balance sheet, and hit annual financial target assigned by the Bank. The successful candidate will also need to be able to manage loan clients after closing date, such as loan advance, regular post-lending management, and annual review.

  • Responsible for developing National Accounts/Corporate Banking accounts in Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba market
  • Takes advantage of in depth knowledge of the client and industry to generate ideas/opportunities that can be discussed with the relevant manager and/or deal/coverage team
  • Develops relationship with identified target customers, and leads the direct selling of credit and non-credit products to customers
  • Uses strong knowledge of the Bank\'s global products and services to ensure the banking needs of each relationship are well understood and documented; Conducts thorough credit due diligence and liaises with team for compliance monitoring and reporting actions; Good post-lending management with Bank\'s middle-desk support
  • Directs day-to-day activities in a manner consistent with the Bank\'s risk culture and the relevant risk appetite statement and limits. Communicates the Bank\'s risk culture and risk appetite statement throughout their teams
  • Assists the bank and the management to build and maintain a high market profile in Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba market with both internal and external contacts by planning and completing relationship activities which generate sales opportunities and / or provide value to the customers; Assists the bank and the management to promote the development and growth of the Corporate Banking portfolio in Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba market to maximize business development opportunities for sustainable growth

Responsible for developing National Accounts/Corporate Banking accounts |An opportunity to join a growing team & develop internal/external relationships

5+ years of corporate banking experience with National Accounts or Capital Market clients (Large private or public enterprises with minimum annual revenue of C$1 billion)
A degree in finance, accounting or economics, alongside professional work experience in National Accounts lending, Corporate Finance lending or Corporate Banking lending is a requirement
An expert knowledge of the corporate banking marketplace in Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba
A thorough knowledge in Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba market\'s key prospects, such as oil & gas, power & renewable energy in Alberta, agriculture & mining in Saskatchewan and Manitoba
Experienced service for major large companies and competitive positioning within the market, and familiarity with Loan Syndication market are must
Very strong communication skills in English (oral and written) - Mandarin speaking is an advantage
