We are looking for a dynamic senior regional human resources manager with a passion for strategy, incentive plan design, career architecture and change management. This is a great chance to join a Top Employer, in the building products sector, and partner with the VP of Sales, the Director of HR and a group of hard working, passionate employees to effectively and efficiently manufacture and distribute building materials in North America.

Role Description
You will work with the Sales, Customer Experience and Distribution functions with 30 locations in Canada. You will use your consultative and influencing skills to develop and implement solutions that allow our client to continue to attract and develop great talent in their organization. This position will act as a business leader who supports the building of an engaged workforce that meets the current & future needs of the business according to their core values. Travel to branches is required for this role.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Provide leadership and critical support for HR service delivery
  • Strategic Priorities and Business Support such as implementing change initiatives, responding to challenges and apply industry trends to critical initiatives
  • Talent management
  • People engagement
  • Talent acquisition & governance associated with recruitment
  • Workforce Planning
Your qualifications:
  • Bachelor\'s degree and 8+ years\' relevant experience or similar combination of education and experience required.
  • Broad knowledge and experience across the many HR disciplines.
  • Team player with strong interpersonal skills, able to influence others.
  • Strong organizational skills, able to prioritize and customer service driven.
  • Ability to develop and communicate appropriate metrics, interpret trends, and adjust strategies as needed in response to changing market conditions.
  • Customer focused, adaptable, with superb follow up and organizational skills.
  • Innovative & Creative mindset.
  • Results oriented & strong ability to collaborate with stakeholders (HR, Hiring Managers).
  • Demonstrated skills with MS Office.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Canadian employment law and policies as they apply to recruitment and selection.
