Department Summary:
The Region Office Operations Division is responsible for providing operational and administrative support services to members of the Consultant network, in Region and Division offices across the country.

Position Summary:
The Senior Specialist, Region Office Operations support the operational, financial and service activities network of Region and Division Offices across the country and is relied upon for business and technical expertise. The Senior Specialist is instrumental in the effective reporting on national operations budget, implementation of corporate initiatives and a key liaison at specific area level. This includes training and development of a large human resources complement.
Duties Include:
Monitoring and reporting on area operations budget. Implement and execute cost reduction strategies and best utilization of corporate resources
Develop and maintain reporting tools to support Region Office Operations in the tracking and analysis of staff and business volumes
Coach, train, develop and support a large complement of employees in a decentralized environment includes each operational system
Performs the role of liaison between Head Office, and Region Offices on various operational issues through observation and review of business issues and processes
Analyze business processes and practice, policies and procedures on an ongoing basis to identify Best Demonstrated Practices
Creates, develops and maintains professional business relationships with a large number of internal contacts at all levels of the organization
Responsible for reviewing the communication in French and English for Region Office Operations
Qualifications:
Excellent computer skills; specifically with the ability to develop Excel programs
Good understanding of budgeting, accounting and internal control best practices
Post-secondary degree or equivalent
Excellent comprehension of corporate internal environment - systems; processes; departmental interrelationships.
Bilingual (French & English) an asset
Proven ability to communicate effectively (written and oral) at all levels of an organization
Proven leadership ability
Must be able to work independently in a multitask environment with a diverse group of individuals
Previous experience in an Investors Group Region Office a strong asset
Some traveling required, mostly within Quebec and Ontario
