Role overview

We're hiring a Senior Real Estate Valuation Analyst to join our Valuation & AI Analytics Division. You'll partner with product, data, and market teams to produce valuation reports, feasibility assessments, and automated models that inform investment and development decisions for clients, municipalities, and institutional investors.

Key responsibilities

Produce professional valuation, feasibility, and advisory reports for a range of asset types using UnlockLand's platform. Build and maintain dynamic financial models (DCF, sensitivity, scenario analysis) using real-time market, sales, and zoning data. Collaborate with data engineers and product teams to refine valuation algorithms and predictive appraisal models. Provide expert support for litigation or expropriation cases when required (prepare evidence, documentation). Monitor market trends, land-use regulations, and valuation methodologies to keep models current and defensible. Mentor and train junior analysts in valuation techniques and best practices. Represent UnlockLand in client, municipal, and investor discussions and presentations.
Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's in Real Estate, Finance, Urban Economics, or a related field. 3+ years' experience in property valuation, feasibility, or investment analysis (commercial or mixed-use preferred). Strong financial modelling skills; advanced Excel proficiency. Experience with geospatial analysis tools and familiarity with zoning codes. Comfortable using and validating DCF and Comps/MLS/CoStar-style approaches. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Bilingual English/French an asset. Experience with appraisal standards, litigation support, or municipal valuation is a plus. Tech-savvy, intellectually curious, and passionate about innovation in real estate.
