Global Financial Firm located in Mississauga, ON has an immediate contract opportunity for an experienced Senior React Developer

"This role is currently on a Hybrid Schedule.
You will need to have reliable internet, computer and android or iphone for remote access into the client systems during remote work.
We will be expected in the office weekly 3 days depending on the team requirement.

Senior React Developer

We are seeking a senior React (UI) developer with proficient API design and solid implementation skills to implement our next generation Dataflow technology. This is a delivery-focused role and includes elements of design, engineering, implementation and quality.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement software solution with solid code quality and data structure design.
• Work on tasks/stories individually, or as part of a pair (through pair programming) in a wider team.
• Participate code review, issue triage, and design meetings and contribute your idea.
• Be a team player in a multi-discipline team which contains PM/BA, QA, Support and dev with different tech background.
• Manage whole lifecycle of assigned Jiras by matching team\'s suggested practice, including requirement analytics, effort estimation, address blockers and risk control.
• Present the solution (POC) in a way that PM/BA, peer dev\'s, and business user can easily understand.
• Be a contributor of dev team in area of productivity, process engagement, innovation, new industry standard, cutting-edge technology.

• 5-10 years professional experience in Web front-end development
• Expert level in writing high quality code of CSS, JavaScript, HTML, TypeScript by matching suggested eslint rules
• Expert level in React/Redux or Vue/Vuex framework and can write solid code with TypeScript
• Expertise in component-based architecture, component API design
• Rich experience in build tools, including Webpack, Husky, Dependency Cruiser
• Rich experience in writing jest based Unit Tests in practical and performant way
• Proficiency in issue triage & performance optimizations
• Proficiency in D3 based chart programing
• Proficiency in Ag Grid
• Working knowledge in Agile Scrum, Jira, Bit-bucket, Git
• Working knowledge in CI/CD, Devops

• Contributed lib/middleware/component/utils in npmjs.com
• Working knowledge in web component design & development, such as Lit-element/Polymer
• Working knowledge in RxJs programming
• Working knowledge in Electron apps
• Working knowledge in Node.js, next.js or express, and understanding node.js ecology.

• Bachelor\'s degree (in science, computers, information technology or engineering)
