Job Title Senior Quality Engineer
What is the opportunity?
The Enterprise Architecture team is undertaking multiple complex enterprise-wide initiatives as part of RBC\xe2\x80\x99s ongoing plan to improve technology management and architectural governance across the organization. In this role you will be responsible for Developing test Automation strategies, plans, and maintain automation Suite/data by coordinating with respective teams . Also, to develop and continuously improve automated tests as new system features and enhancements are developed. The role will coordinate, develop/Enhance, lead, communicate and execute activities to ensure objectives are accomplished according on time.
What will you do?
Drive E2E testing on journey Originating features to ensure product groups deliver with High Quality.
Drive High Quality practices, delivering with speed and accuracy.
Must have knowledge and experience in building Test Strategies/Plans.
Experienced Professional Role with In-depth Knowledge and experience in QE Concepts and services including Automation.
Must have strong knowledge and experience in Agile and DevOps.
work closely with Dev partners for pair testing and focus on pyramid model of testing coverage
Develop test Automation strategies/ plans, and maintain automation test data by coordinating with respective teams
Develop and continuously improve automated tests as new system features and enhancements are developed
Ensure the appropriate test environments and infrastructures are in place and kept up to date
Identify and report to product teams questionable functions, performance concerns, and inconsistencies
Document and mentor QE engineers in the use of the testing framework
Assist in the identification, selection, and implementation of tools, technologies, and practices that support the QE process
Contribute to accurate time estimates for automation test development
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have
Must have 9+ years of Strong QE and Automation Experience
Candidate must have strong Quality Engineering , Automation & Devops tools skills which includes GIT, Jenkins, Docker.
Must have experience in building automation frameworks for web-based and API to aid with regression and other repeatable tests
Must have knowledge and experience in building Test Strategies/Plans.
Ability to articulate and drive sustainable processes and Ability to work independently and in a team-based setting
Experience working in an Agile Scrum environment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Should have good experience in working closely with Dev partners for pair testing and focus on pyramid model of testing coverage
Nice-to-have:
Mobile Automation is a Plus (Appium and Perfecto).
