If you answered yes to these questions, Radio-Canada\xe2\x80\x99s Digital Media group is seeking one (1) Senior Quality Assurance Analysts for its development team.

You will play an active role in creating innovative projects on Radio-Canada\xe2\x80\x99s major platforms, such as ICI TOU.TV, Radio-Canada.ca and ICI RADIO-CANADA PREMI\xc3\x88RE. Your responsibilities as part of the team will include creating, maintaining, executing quality tests based on our technologies solutions and, of course, documentation.

Qualifications

We are looking for a candidate with the following:

  • Post-secondary education in a computer/technical related field.
  • Minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience as a Quality Assurance Analyst related to Software or Web development environment.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in testing mobile and desktop applications (iOS, Android, Windows, OS X).
  • Experience in API, CMS, backend and database.
  • Passion for software quality and attention to detail.
  • Strong collaborator and contributor to any team.
  • In-depth knowledge of test automation, test tooling and testing frameworks.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD practices.
  • Experience with the application design and development life cycle, especially the Agile Scrum Project Management Methodology.
  • Experience with tools like JIRA, TestRail and Postman.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing with others of varying levels of computer expertise.
  • Ability to exercise judgment, take initiative, manage multiple priorities, and respond to several urgent requests in a short period of time.
  • Experience with and knowledge of website security, as well as process designing and engineering (assets).
  • Proficiency in French, functional knowledge of written and spoken English is an asset.
Candidates may be subject to skills and knowledge testing.

Please note that this is a 12-month contractual position renewable annually.
