Senior Public Accountant -- Calgary, AB (Hybrid)

In this role, you'll turn complex, cross-border operations into clear, decision-grade numbers in a public-company environment.

Role snapshot

Own the close, raise the bar on controls, and deliver audit-ready reporting across multi-entity, multi-currency operations within our group.

What you'll do

Lead month/quarter/year-end close and produce IFRS-quality financial statements (US GAAP exposure welcome). Keep us audit-ready with clean workpapers, tie-outs, control narratives, and support packs. Draft disclosures/footnotes and partner closely with external auditors. Reconcile equity ledgers, cap tables, and SBC (IFRS 2/ASC 718) plus other complex instruments. Strengthen internal controls and streamline group consolidations across jurisdictions.

What you bring

Canadian

CPA

with

7-12+ years

in public accounting and/or public-company reporting. Deep

IFRS

expertise; comfortable with multi-entity, multi-currency

consolidations

(US GAAP a plus). Audit & assurance rigor (SOX mindset) and a builder's approach to documentation and standardization. Solid tax awareness (federal/provincial; international exposure welcome).

Languages:

English required;

Spanish is a strong plus.
