Who You'll Work With




Reporting to the VP, Business Development, the Senior Proposal Manager will be in charge of leading the proposal writing efforts across the wide range of services at Kii Health. This position will require connecting with key stakeholders and SME's across the business to gather any necessary information for the proposal writing process.

What You'll Be Doing



RFP Identification



Proactively monitor procurement portals and bid sites to identify new business opportunities. Preliminary Assessment of potential RFPs to determine alignment with the organization's services, capabilities, and strategic objectives, ensuring pursuit of opportunities that match core offering.

Proposal Planning & Coordination



Analyze and interpret requirements of RFPs and other RFXs to determine proposal concepts and clarify opportunities. Organize and lead strategy and planning meetings to establish timelines, response schedules, and stakeholder responsibilities. Monitor proposal schedules, ensuring all contributors and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) are aligned with deadlines. Identify and escalate risks associated with proposal timelines or content gaps and escalate.

Content Development & Writing



Develop clear, concise, and compelling proposals that are fully compliant with client submission requirements. Assemble and write proposal content including project objectives, deliverables, implementation methods, timelines, staffing, budgets, and evaluation metrics. Draft, revise, and edit executive summaries, conclusions, and organizational credentials. Support the creation of custom presentations, email templates, and sales materials tailored to specific segments and strategic prospects.

Collaboration & Customization



Collaborate with business leads and internal teams to identify strengths, clarify issues, and tailor content to reflect local business and community insights. Assist in identifying value propositions and crafting competitive differentiators. Coordinate proposal review processes, consolidate stakeholder feedback, and refine content accordingly.

Quality Assurance & Compliance



Edit and proofread all proposal materials for clarity, grammar, consistency, and compliance with both client specifications and internal standards. Maintain quality by using templates, adhering to proposal-writing standards, and updating proposal support databases. Respond to quality process and audit questionnaires as required by RFPs or contractual obligations.

5Process Improvement & Knowledge Management



Continuously evaluate and improve proposal development processes, tools, and templates. Maintain and update the Best Answers database to enhance efficiency and consistency in future proposals. Participate in quality initiatives, policy development, and continuous improvement efforts.

Additional Support



Maintain confidentiality of client and corporate information at all times. Assist in preparing PowerPoint presentations and other supporting documents as needed. Perform other related tasks as assigned.

What You Need to Be Successful



Extensive written communication experience in any of the following: proposals, grants, quality/audit documents, policy writing, or other technical document. 5+ years of experience in a similar role Proficiency with MS Office Suite Intellectual curiosity, proactively seeking to understand client needs, industry trends, and evolving best practices to enhance proposal quality and strategic alignment. University degree in relevant area (i.e., business, science, nursing, kinesiology, journalism, health science, social science, health policy)

What You Need to Stand Out



Master's Degree or PHD in relevant field Fluency in French and English, both written and spoken considered a bonus French language proposal writing experience is an asset Previous experience with using MS Projects Previous experience working in the same industry alongside similar services
