Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Property Manager (Strata) to oversee the management of a 150 plus condo building in Vancouver B.C.. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of property management, and a proven track record in customer service. This role requires effective communication and negotiation skills to build relationships with owners, vendors, and stakeholders while ensuring the properties are maintained to the highest standards.

Responsibilities

Manage daily operations of the Strata Corporation., ensuring compliance with company policies and Strata Property Act and regulations. Oversee maintenance requests and coordinate with maintenance staff or vendors using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). Conduct regular property inspections to assess condition and identify areas for improvement. Negotiate contracts with vendors and service providers to secure favorable terms for the company. Maintain accurate records of property files, owner information, and financial transactions. Address owner inquiries and concerns promptly, providing exceptional customer service. Organize and attend Annual GeneralMeetings, (AGM). Organize monthly strata council meetings.

Skills

Strong background in prepareing annual budgets. Coordinate with accounting teams on financial reporting. Proven experience in property management with knowledge of industry best practices. Proficiency in administrative tasks including filing, record keeping, and documentation management. Familiarity with software for maintenance tracking and reporting. Excellent negotiation skills to secure contracts and agreements beneficial to the strata corporation. Experience using property management software for operational efficiency.
Qualifications

Strata Management License issued by the BC Financial Services Authority. (BCFSA)

Minimuum 5 years of experiance in strata property management.

Indepth knoledge of the Strat act, Residential Tenancy Act and related regulations.

Assets

Experianced in managing a complex strata corporation.

Competitive salary commensurate with experiance.
