The ideal candidate will be familiar with relevant BC regulations and have 2-6 years of experience in the environmental consulting industry.What you will be doing at Pinchin

  • Perform Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments including soil, groundwater and vapour sampling
  • Monitor underground storage tank removal programs
  • Oversee environmental remediation activities
  • Prepare and edit technical reports
  • Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and other potentially involved stakeholders
  • Develop and maintain positive client relationships
What you bring to the Pinchin team
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in Environmental Science or Engineering and/or Diploma in Environmental Science
  • 2-6 years of related experience, preferably in British Columbia
  • Professional designation, such as P. Eng., P. Geo., P.Ag. etc. (or working towards) is considered an asset
  • Excellent writing, editing, technical and organizational skills along with the ability to problem solve
  • Detail oriented, strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to thrive in a team environment
  • Familiarity with BC Contaminated Sites Regulations
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Suite including Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook
  • Availability to travel for work when required
  • Valid driver\xe2\x80\x99s license, insurance & personal vehicle is required (work related travel expenses will be compensated)
  • Availability to work outside core business hours
