Lubec Construction Ltd. is a fast-growing Construction Management Company with our office located in Victoria, British Columbia that specializes in multi family construction across both Alberta and British Columbia. We are founded and structured on a model which affords us a greater capacity to respond quickly to the needs of our clients; resolve issues with minimal to no interruption in the construction schedule, and complete projects that exceed our clients' expectations. As we expand, we are looking for a dynamic, organized, and hardworking Senior Project Manager to work in our office. This position is considered full-time and a permanent position.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES



Coordinate all project management activities, resources, and equipment. Coordinate with subtrades to identify and define requirements, scopes and objectives. Review projects for compliance with building and safety codes Oversee project procurement management. Complete purchase orders, contracts, change orders, charge backs and all other project related documents. Support site staff with all project safety requirements. Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans and reports. Manage project submittal process with trade contractors and project consultants. Create tender packages and bid recs for all scopes required on each project complete with negotiation and subtrade recommendation. Communicate and update project owners weekly on schedule and budget. Communicate and update management staff on project status. Resolve issues on a day to day basis with customers, owners and other interested parties. Assist with construction handover packages and close out documentation. Coordinate with sub contractors for scheduling, progress draws and invoicing. Perform other related duties as required.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:



Ability to work according to deadlines and prioritize workload. Ability to adapt quickly to changing project requirements. Possess strong organizational and time management skills. Create and maintain positive relationships with team, clients, suppliers and subcontractors. Comprehensive knowledge of project management principles and methodologies. Ability to interpret construction drawings, specifications and BC Building Code. Ability to develop and implement project schedules on multi family residential projects. Ability to supervise and provide direction to team members. Ability to read, accept, interprets, and analyze project costs on multi family residential projects. Ability to complete quantity take-offs and estimate. Conduct, chair and minute project meetings with stakeholders. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Bluebeam and Microsoft Project Previous experience with Autodesk Construction Cloud is an asset Previous project management experience of 10 years is required in multi family construction. Must be self motivated while maintaining an open mind to learn.
