Job Description

Our client is a prominent Real Estate Developer and Design-Build General Contractor, specializing in office buildings, industrial distribution centers, manufacturing facilities, and retail projects across Southwestern Ontario. They are currently seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager to join their team. In this role, you will oversee multiple high-profile building projects while collaborating closely with the leadership team.
As a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for the following:

• Overseeing all phases of the construction project lifecycle, from initial planning and design to successful completion.
• Managing project budgets, schedules, and resources to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
• Coordinating workers, materials, and equipment to ensure specifications are followed and work is proceeding on schedule.
• Selecting and coordinating the work of subcontractors across various project phases, ensuring smooth execution.
• Overseeing the performance of all trade contractors and reviewing architectural and engineering drawings to ensure compliance with specifications, regulations, and industry standards.
• Administering construction contracts and ensuring proper execution throughout the project.
• Regularly reporting to the owner on project progress, modifications to plans, and any necessary adjustments.
• Fostering and maintaining strong client relationships, providing regular updates and addressing concerns or issues proactively.
• Conducting comprehensive risk assessments and implementing effective mitigation strategies to ensure safety, quality, and project success.
• Ensuring full compliance with industry standards, regulations, and company policies throughout the project lifecycle.

• Over 7 years of experience managing ICI construction projects, specializing in hotel buildings, office buildings, industrial distribution centers, manufacturing facilities, and retail projects.
• Proven success in overseeing Design-Build and Construction Management (CM) projects, with values ranging from $1M to $50M.
• Educational background in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
• In-depth knowledge of local building codes, regulations, and safety standards, ensuring full compliance on every project.
• Exceptional leadership abilities, with a demonstrated track record of effective communication, team collaboration, and solving complex challenges.
• Strong negotiation skills, with a talent for managing diverse stakeholder interests and aligning them to achieve project success.
