Senior Project Manager, IT - Enterprise Technology

We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead complex, cross-functional technology initiatives within a large enterprise environment. The initial focus will be on a major transformation project migrating from Informatica to Databricks, with additional projects spanning Finance, Corporate Legal, and HR domains.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the end-to-end delivery of multiple concurrent IT projects, starting with a data platform transformation.

Collaborate closely with development teams to ensure technical alignment and successful execution.

Manage projects in a Waterfall environment, while supporting the transition to Agile methodologies.

Oversee the upgrade of 25+ applications (out of 100+ in scope), focusing on code and application-level changes.

Prepare and present bi-weekly executive decks to senior stakeholders, including directors and business leaders.

Identify and mitigate risks, manage timelines and budgets, and ensure stakeholder expectations are met.

Build strong relationships across business and technology teams to drive project success.

Required Skills & Experience

5+ years of project management experience in IT, ideally within enterprise or financial services environments.

Proven ability to manage technical projects and work effectively with software development teams.

Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile and Waterfall methodologies.

Experience with tools such as JIRA, ServiceNow, Planview.

Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to create impactful executive-level reporting.

Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.

Background in data platforms, application upgrades, or enterprise systems is highly desirable.

Work Arrangement

Hybrid work model with a mix of remote and on-site work at a downtown Toronto office.

Reporting directly to the Director of Enterprise Technology.

Job Type: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: $70.00-$95.00 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
