A day in the life

As the Scrum Lead, your responsibility will be to lead and maintain a fast-paced scrum-based engineering team, dedicated to delivering updates and innovations to our digital e-commerce platforms. You\'ll work closely with Edge engineers located in multiple cities and time zones. Collaboration with other Scrum Leads and Product Owners will be essential to integrate developments with other teams, vendors, and shared resources. Your guidance will ensure that the engineering team adheres to the scrum framework and upholds the highest standards of compliance, security, and scalability.

  • Create and manage budgets, reporting on budget and status to stakeholders, PMO, program and technology management, and cross- functional partners.
  • Collaborate with the Product Owner to ensure the sprint backlog is filled with comprehensive and balanced user stories.
  • Cultivate transparency to build trust among stakeholders, partners, and team members.
  • Assist the team in providing continuous improvements for production-related incidents and requests, including triage, root-cause identification, bug tracking, resolution, and deployment.
  • Manage backlog tracking, burndown metrics, velocity, and task definition.
  • Highlight best practices, industry standards, and Agile principles when guidance is needed.
  • Share information that aids in integrating the team, initiatives, systems, and the organization as a whole.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of scrum lead/project manager role and experience in eCommerce
  • 3+ years of experience managing remote teams
  • Several years of experience in systems analysis, data administration, software engineering, network design or computer programming, including supervisory experience, are required
  • Experience working with software development teams, and Agile SDLC processes.
  • Experience working in an agile environment including tools like JIRA, Confluence and others
  • Experience managing project budgets in excess of $1M
  • Core understanding of web and mobile technologies and software development
  • Demonstrated experience in instilling a continuous improvement culture
  • Nice to have first-level scrum training (Certified Scrum Lead) or other Agile training/certification
