The TELUS IoT Connectivity & Platforms team is building an Ecosystem of business-focused technologies in the areas of IoT, Intelligent Mobility, Connected Worker, Smart Cities / Buildings, Advanced Fleet, Agriculture, Health, Cybersecurity, and more. The first foundational platform will be an enterprise marketplace that will allow business customers to learn about these products, purchase them and configure, all in a self-serve portal. Additional applications will include data aggregation and visualization for combining multiple point solutions, as well as an API platform to share data analytics and insights. This portfolio of applications is expected to grow for many years. The ecosystem will support the entire customer life-cycle, through the LBGUPS model (Learn, Buy, Get, Use, Pay, Support). We are seeking a talented, driven, passionate Scrum Master (Project Manager) responsible for planning, leading, organizing, and motivating Agile project teams. Your goals are to achieve a high level of performance and quality and deliver agile projects that provide exceptional business value to users. You will be responsible for managing several concurrent high visibility projects in a fast-paced environment across matrixed, functional and technical organizations.

You will be expected to use a high level of knowledge and experience in blending traditional project management principles and practices with an Agile development approach in the right proportions to fit large, complex, mission-critical, enterprise-level projects and with the appropriate level of planning and provide the right balance of agility and predictability.

Join a passionate team for building solutions for IoT! As the Senior Project Manager/Scrum Master you will provide system delivery leadership:

• Leverage your expertise in Agile methodologies and apply project management best practices to deliver the best results
• Manage complex strategic development initiatives and collaborate with cross-functional teams to transform our IoT Team and enhance end to end customer journey
• Leverage your passion for process improvements to implement solutions and optimize operational efficiency
• Facilitate the required project meetings, including the kick-off, daily stand-up, sprint planning, backlog management, sprint review, sprint retrospective, and project closing
• Leverage your expertise in change management to help the team embrace and adapt changes in a dynamic and value-driven environment
• Passion for continuous learning and knowledge sharing as well as exceptional time management, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills

Qualifications

Your ideal profile includes:

• 10+ years of Agile project management and scrum master experience
• PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) and/or Certified Scrum Professional - ScrumMaster certification
• 12+ years of experience with digital IT system solutions - custom development and COTs environments
• Experience with large transactional systems in medium to large companies
• Strong technical and business acumen, analytical, and problem solving skills with proven experience in managing multiple initiatives and changing priorities
• Well versed with all aspects of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC). Good understanding of software design, development and testing
• Experience in working with the Agile/DevOps methodology and CI/CD pipeline and QA processes
• Hands-on project experience using Jira
• Familiarity with Cloud technology either AWS, GCP, Azure
• Familiarity with software development tools such as Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, C++, APIs, Postman, Angular or React and databases such as MongoDb, MySql, Postgres
• Experience working with Front End and Back End developers, Architects, QA, Product owners
• Strong sense of urgency and ownership to deliver the best outcomes in the most efficient and effective way with a customer first focus
• Demonstrated ability to manage ambiguity, embrace change, adapt team strategy, and redirect focus to fit business strategy
• Solid knowledge of developing and managing project capital expenditures (CAPEX) & operating expenses (OPEX) budgets. Adept with resource planning and interlock.
• Previous hands on developer skill and experience in software design, development, and testing
• University degree in Computer Science or Engineering and relevant experience in a complex and fast-paced environment
