Overview:
Our client has an immediate need to hire a Senior Project Manager on a 36-month (plus option for a 2yr extension) contract (Reference #SPS-RFR-CS2303S) for their Regina, SK location. The position must be local as regular onsite meetings are required. They are looking for a Project Manager with extensive project management experience in managing large projects focusing on implementing a customer centric business transformation strategy.

What you will be doing:

The Proponent(s) will be responsible for directing and managing the Business Modernization project. and if time permits, other corporate projects from beginning to end to ensure project objectives are met.

The successful candidates(s) will possess a combination of technical and leadership skills.

They will have a strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools, as well as the ability to manage teams, resources, and budgets effectively.

In addition, they should possess excellent communication skills and be able to develop strong relationships with stakeholders, clients, and team members.

They will also have the ability to identify and manage project risks effectively, be adaptable to changing circumstances, provide accurate and regular status reports and be able to navigate complex organizational structures.

They will also have a track record of successful project delivery and be able to demonstrate their ability to drive results and meet project goals.

Project manager services may be provided remotely but occasional onsite visits to the office in Saskatchewan, Canada may be required so the candidate must be locally based. The intended start date for the role is April 1, 2024.

What you must have:

Valid Project Management Professional (PMP) or PRINCE2 certification.

Demonstrated experience successfully leading and implementing projects that involved major changes to business systems and processes through managing team resources, systems development, estimating effort and costs and planning and scheduling project activities

Demonstrated experience preparing or overseeing the development of project documents (examples include but are not limited to charters, status/progress reports, detailed budget, resource estimates, project management plans, schedules and proposals, strategies, project close?out documents including transition to operations and \xe2\x80\x9clessons learned\xe2\x80\x9d).

Experience in large Digital Transformation projects considered an asset.

Demonstrated experience working in an Agile environment, highlighting the Agile frameworks employed and any Agile certifications achieved

Familiarity with project management software, specifically experience with Microsoft Project Professional. Knowledge of Microsoft Project Online is considered an asset

Familiarity with Microsoft Team Foundation Server (TFS) and SharePoint.

Experience using, or certification with an organizational change management methodology, while not required, is considered an asset
