Here is what you will be doing:
The Senior Project Manager at Ontario Health will lead large-scale, complex projects within the Primary and Community-Based Care portfolio. This role involves significant change management and collaboration across various departments. The Program Initiatives (PI) team employs a collaborative and cross-programmatic approach to address quality, access, capacity, and measurement gaps at the system level. Foundational to the PI work is the development and implementation of new models of care initiatives that focus on optimizing the use of health human resources, care settings, and technology to re-configure and streamline teams, processes, and structures.
Key Responsibilities:Lead and support the planning, design, and implementation of initiatives across Cancer Screening and Primary and Community-Based Care portfolios. Manage complex, multi-workstream projects, balancing scope, time, cost, and quality. Develop and implement new models of care to optimize health human resources, care settings, and technology. Ensure timely, accurate project reporting and compliance with Ontario Health policies and standards. Proactively manage risks and resolve issues. Maintain project resource controls and ensure contractor/vendor compliance Take broad concepts and turn them into achievable plans, managing them from requirements through design and implementation

Here is what you will need to be successful:
Education and ExperienceCompletion of a bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline (business administration, health administration, health informatics, information technology, etc.). Candidates with an equivalent combination of relevant education and experience will be considered. 10 - 15 years' experience in a role related to project planning and delivery, ideally in a healthcare setting experience with government level initiatives and projects an asset Strong working knowledge of the full Project Management LifeCycle (PMLC), PMBOK based Experience in managing delivery teams of various sizes and scope (may include staff, consultants, vendors) Experience with Microsoft Office tools, Microsoft Project, and Microsoft Project Server Understanding of the primary care landscape in Ontario is an asset Experience with data, clinical, and IT-focused projects is desirable

Knowledge and SkillsExpert project management skills gained through progressively more responsible assignments Demonstrated experience managing across full solution development lifecycle, with track record of successful project delivery Experience in managing delivery teams of various sizes and scope (may include staff, consultants, vendors) Experience with and knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, Microsoft Project, and MS Project Server Experience with project methodologies and standards (PMLC, SDLC, ITIL) and tools, e.g., SharePoint
