Under the supervision of the Project Director,the Senior Project Manager is responsible for overseeing major projects. They plan, direct, organize, coordinate, and control--either independently or with other project managers--the execution of one or more construction projects simultaneously.###
Requirements
University degree or technology diploma in engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience 10+ years of experience in the construction industry Civil engineering construction experience (bridges, infrastructure, tunneling, water/sewer, heavy civil) Proven track record of successful project execution and team leadership Strong knowledge of geology and geotechnical principles Experience in large-scale projects and partnership environments Familiarity with alternative project delivery models (Design-Build, P3) Financial acumen and strong understanding of codes and legislation Advanced management, negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills Proficiency with scheduling software and general computer skills Bilingualism is an asset; proficiency in English (written and verbal) is required
