Senior Project Manager

Bassi Construction is a multi-divisional General Contractor and Construction Management firm with over 65 years of experience delivering high-quality projects across Ottawa and surrounding regions. Our divisions include Tenant Fit-Up/Renovation, Restoration, New Construction, and Emergency Services.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead projects within our Tenant Fit-Up and Restoration divisions. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to manage multiple projects in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities:

Manage all phases of tenant fit-up and restoration projects from pre-construction to closeout including precon and project meetings with all stake holders. Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and risk management plans. Lead and mentor project teams, ensuring alignment with company standards and client expectations. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers. Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and company policies. Regular Project visits as needed.

Qualifications:

Required

10+ years of construction project management experience, with at least 5 years in a senior role. Expert in MS 365 (Project, Excel, Teams, Outlook). Ability to obtain Government Security Clearances. Expert knowledge of CCDC contracts, change management, and cost control systems with a strong attention to detail at all levels. Proven track record managing tenant fit-up and/or restoration projects demonstrating excellant communication and collaboration skills. Excellent leadership, and problem-solving skills. Ability to obtain Government of Canada security clearances. Licensed to operate a motor vehicle in Ontario.

Sage 300 CRE, Timberscan, Jonas Premier, CAD/BIM. Existing Government Security Clearances. PMP/Gold Seal, MBA or IICRC certifications.
