Job Description

-General Responsibilities:



As a Senior Project Manager, you'll be responsible for all assigned projects and satisfying the company and client in terms of quality, safety, timeliness, and cost while adhering to the company's values, policies and procedures. The Senior Project Manager is accountable for managing the project team, project financial performance, and ensuring subcontractors/suppliers perform as contracted. As a Senior Project Manager employed by Iconic Iron Inc. you will be required to work on projects related to casinos and hotels.

Specifically, you will:

- Oversee the execution of the project and be a decision maker on the project.

- Ensure that project targets are met (cost, schedule, client satisfaction).

- Set intermediate goals for internal self-perform trades, subcontractors, and suppliers; following through, and holding people accountable as need be.

- Update and manage the project schedule and monitors the critical path on the master schedule.

- Hold subcontractors accountable for fulfilling their obligations to the client and the Company.

- Approve subcontractor invoices for payment.

- Compare work billed with work performed and keeps them in balance.

- Understand key issues of the client's business and factors critical to the operation of the facility/processes on site.

- Complete performance communications and establishes clear expectations of performance for direct reports.

- Review project cost. Tools, equipment, subcontractors, suppliers, and others. Manages cash position and adjusts execution plan when required to meet targets.

- Deal with clients and consultants.

- Keep the client apprised of developments in the project, including any change orders that may be needed, change in timelines, etc.

- Ensure project risks are identified and actively managed.

-Oversee all financial details on company projects, including but not limited to invoicing and change orders.

-Oversee all document submittals on company projects along with coordinating with engineering staff and clients.

-Read and execute architectural, structural, and internal shop drawings.

Qualifications:

- 5 years' experience with Structural Steel and Miscellaneous Metals in a construction environment.

- Experience managing a project team of 5-15 people.

- Proven past experience ensuring project targets are met (cost, schedule, client satisfaction).

- Experience setting project goals for team members, subcontractors and suppliers.

- Experience working in a client/consultant facing role.

- Advanced skills in MS Office products - Excel, Word and Outlook.

- Experience with Premier Construction Software

- Post-secondary degree/diploma in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management or related field

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90,000.00-$110,000.00 per year
