What we're looking for
Align with Account Manager and Estimating Department for project 'kickoff' after receipt of purchase order from customer
Create project timeline supported by Mechanical Design Engineering, Controls Design and Manufacturing
Lead Weekly Customer Meetings - discuss open issues, new business, project timing
Track key measures (KPI's), Engineering Change Requests, Engineering Change Notices, customer purchase orders
Monitor project timelines, sample submissions, customer buyoff, commissioning
Achieve project completion timing within budget
What you need to succeed
Mechanical Engineering or Weld Engineering degree or diploma, or equivalent trade experience required
10 years project management experience in a progressive custom build metal joining automation equipment environment required
Experience with welding automation tooling and GD&T preferred
Excellent management and mentoring skills
Proven customer relation skills
Well organized, proven ability to work under tight time constraints
Ability to travel, if required
Windows based computer skills required
