Our company is seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to lead our land development projects as a Senior Project Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the engineering process, from initial design to project completion. The Project Manager will work closely with our engineering consultants and construction team to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. Responsibilities:
- Manage the technical aspects of the projects through the full project lifecycle from early project phase to overseeing engineering, design and approvals to office assistance for contract administration, and construction management.
- Manage and oversee the tendering, contract administration, field inspections, and post-construction phases of project execution to meet project deadlines.
- Manage external engineering consultants and provide leadership and guidance to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Review and consolidate comments on technical reports, drawings, and other consultant work product and coordinate submissions for applications.
- Conduct site investigations, prepare reports, and perform engineering analyses related to servicing strategies.
- Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
- Manage project risks and identify opportunities to improve project outcomes.
- Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Maintain appropriate records of architectural, landscape, and engineering plans.
- Minimum of 7 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in land development and project management.
- Bachelor\'s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- P. Eng. designation is not required but is considered an asset.
- Strong project management, analytical and technical skills.
- A thorough understanding of the land development approvals process in Ontario.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- An established network within the land development industry.
- Working knowledge with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and project management software and tools.
