We're rapidly expanding and looking for a dynamic Senior Project Manager to drive our exciting growth trajectory and lead us into the future.
Position Summary:
As a Senior Project Manager, you'll lead construction projects from initial design, estimation, and bidding through to completion, ensuring the highest quality standards are met on time and within budget. We seek someone with exceptional leadership qualities and a passion for excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Communicate effectively with team members, clients, authorities, and stakeholders.
Supervise, mentor, and coach project staff, promoting professional growth and team success.
Oversee comprehensive management, administration, and technical direction for multiple projects.
Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, identifying milestones, critical paths, and delivery timelines.
Continuously monitor and update schedules, addressing impacts and changes promptly.
Establish and enforce robust project safety and environmental standards aligned with company policy and regulatory guidelines.
Monitor and manage project costs, conducting regular reviews to ensure accurate, up-to-date reporting.
Manage contracts with sub-trades, suppliers, and consultants, ensuring compliance and alignment with project timelines.
Identify construction methodologies and sequencing, resolving conflicts as needed.
Chair project meetings, delegate clearly, and maintain meticulous records of decisions and commitments.
Provide regular status reports to Ownership, covering budgets, schedules, quality assurance, and contractual matters.
Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned by Ownership.
Qualifications:
Minimum 10 years' experience in project management within mid-rise residential construction.
PMP or PMAC certification preferred.
Exceptional leadership and communication skills (verbal and written).
Proven track record in fostering positive team environments and collaborative partnerships.
Comprehensive knowledge of all design and construction stages.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, including MS Project, Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Master's Degree in Architectural or Engineering Technology or equivalent experience.
Strong organizational and planning skills, with the ability to proactively manage resources, timelines, and project risks.
Financially astute with expertise in budgeting and cost control.
Openness to feedback, committed to continuous improvement and quality excellence.
