AviSina is a family-owned real estate development and property management company with a portfolio of privately held properties across Western Canada, primarily in BC's Lower Mainland. We create and manage high-quality spaces that reflect the needs of the communities we serve--prioritizing thoughtful design, long-term value, and strong local relationships. Our dedicated team brings deep expertise, care, and a shared commitment to excellence in everything we do.
As we continue to expand, we're seeking a skilled and motivated Senior Project Manager to help lead the construction side of our growing development pipeline.
Overview and Responsibilities:
The Senior Project Manager will act as AviSina's owner representative across a variety of large-scale commercial and residential construction projects. This individual will oversee general contractors, manage project timelines and costs, review key documentation, and ensure that development goals are delivered with quality, safety, and efficiency. Reporting directly to ownership, the Senior PM will also play a key role in building out AviSina's internal construction capabilities, including assembling teams for in-house GC work on future projects. Key responsibilities include:
Lead and manage the construction phase of projects from pre-construction through closeout, serving as the owner's representative.
Coordinate and communicate with general contractors, consultants, trades and internal teams to keep projects on time, on budget, and aligned with design intent.
Review and provide input on construction documents, RFPs, budgets, and change orders prior to tendering and throughout the project lifecycle.
Monitor construction progress, quality, and compliance with safety and regulatory standards through site visits and regular reporting.
Participate in contractor selection, contract negotiations, and consultant coordination.
Identify risks and proactively resolve issues to avoid schedule delays and cost overruns.
Manage project controls and reporting tools to track cost, schedule, and project milestones.
Establish processes and teams to support future in-house general contracting operations, starting with smaller-scale projects.
Mentor and build a construction team that aligns with AviSina's long-term vision of vertically integrated project delivery.
Collaborate with leadership to support long-term strategic planning, value engineering, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications/Experience:
