As a member of our Infrastructure group, you will provide insight and innovative construction solutions to ensure the successful execution of various infrastructure projects, such as: roadways, highways and interchanges; bridges and overpasses; water and wastewater treatment facilities; transmission lines; general/public transportation including airports, seaports and light rail transit lines (LRTs); and conventional and alternative power generation like wind farms and district energy facilities. You will also further hone your skills operating under various delivery methods including Design-Build, P3 (Public-Private Partnership), Construction Management and IPD (Integrated Project Delivery).

About The Role

The Senior Project Coordinator reports directly to the Project Manager and will be responsible for providing assistance to senior staff in the coordinator, scheduling, quantity surveying, reporting and quality control functions. As Senior Project Coordinator at CRD Waste Water Treatment Plant Project (Vancouver Island) you will have the following responsibilities:

• Works with the Project Manager to establish an earned value reporting and management system for many project components, including but not limited to: Mechanical piping and equipment supply chain Self-perform execution of mechanical piping and equipment installation Measuring and monitoring mechanical related subcontracted work
• Monitors daily, weekly and monthly labour, equipment, material and subtrade costs. Monitors cost accruals and reviews with the Project Manager on a regular basis
• Monitors and updates schedules on a regular basis, with the assistance of the Project Manager and Senior Project Coordinators. Reviews and monitors actual construction vs. schedule
• Identifies critical path and keeps abreast of manpower loading and materials deliveries
• Assists with the drawings, drawing records, revisions, site instructions and change order
• Maintains all QA/QC documentation, maintains records of all testing and inspections
• Obtains and provides written documentation for all clarifications and instructions, attends all regular meetings
• Ensures that all technical aspects of the work conform to all applicable codes and standards
• Assists and monitors payroll functions to ensure proper coding and cost allocation
• Assists with preparing progress invoicing and progress status reports
• Assists with the completion of estimates, estimate reviews and costing
• Assist the Superintendent with day to day fields activities
• Responsible for temporary works design and implementation

To be Successful at Graham, you will have the following qualifications and experience:

• Mechanical degree or diploma
• Must have experience working at a mid-to-large General Contractor
• Ideally bringing real experience in coordinating self-perform mechanical work.
• Experience with water/ waste water process facilities specifically in mechanical piping and systems work
• Good communication, problem solving, organizational and interpersonal skills
• Computer literate in a Windows environment
• AutoCAD experience is an asset
• Willing to relocate if needed
