The Opportunity:

We are looking for great people so together we can do great things! The successful candidate will be a Data Warehouse Developer - highly experienced in deploying implementations, balances leadership and technical abilities as they work with our dedicated SCRUM team.

  • Analyze business requirements for the company and design the best possible solution based on technology, infrastructure and timelines provided.
  • Collaborate with Managers, Application Development, Team Leads, Business Analysts and End Users to ensure code quality, accuracy and correct business solutions have been developed.
  • Participates, and at times leads, in the multiple stages of project development adhering to the application lifecycle methodologies utilized at First National Financial.
  • Design and implement ETL processes in support of business analytics and reporting, including programming, documentation and testing of solutions.
  • Develop and perform unit, system, performance, and regression testing on ETL mappings.
  • Provide production implementation and post-implementation support along with the necessary documentation.
  • Complete project deliverables within timelines and budget constraints as per business requirements.
  • Create source-to-target mapping specifications for ETL development.
  • Support and improve production data integration system and environment.
  • Follow established coding standards, perform code reviews, and improve standards to assure compliance.
The Requirements Needed:
  • University degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent experience.
  • 7+ Years of experience in SSIS and use of Stored Procedures.
  • 7+ years of experience in Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence.
  • 5+ Years of development experience in C# .NET
  • 6 months to 1 Year experience in Azure Data Warehouse, Azure Data Factory, SQL VMs.
  • Strong analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Deep understanding of relational database design concepts and SQL programming.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and independently with minimal guidance.
  • Ability to interact with Business Analysts, QA, and end users, excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Available for off-business hours implementation and support.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft BI technology (SSRS, SSIS, SSAS and Power BI).
  • Hands-on experience in writing complex T-SQL and database performance tuning.
  • Excellent knowledge of relational data modeling (ERD), SQL and data warehousing.
  • Familiarity with XML and related technologies (XSD, XSLT, XQuery, XPath...).
  • Financial work-related experience
  • Microsoft Certification in Azure Data Solutions
  • Design pattern knowledge/experience
  • Agile developer experience
  • Microservices, Web Services and related technologies (SOA, WSDL, SOAP, WCF...)
  • Automated unit testing with frameworks such as xUnit, MSTest
  • Web technologies (HTML, JavaScript, MVC, MVVM, jQuery) experience/comprehension
