Job Summary






Global Functions Technology (GFT) is part of RBC's Technology and Operations division. GFT's impact is far-reaching as we collaborate with partners from across the company to deliver innovative and transformative IT solutions. Our clients represent Risk, Finance, HR, CAO, Audit, Legal, Compliance, Financial Crime, Capital Markets, Personal and Commercial Banking and Wealth Management. We also lead the development of digital tools and platforms to enhance collaboration.


As an Sr. Program Manager for Regulatory program, you will lead and oversee activities on planning, delivery, reporting, and tracking of program milestones and regulatory mandates to ensure T&O (Technology & Operations) compliance and objectives are accomplished within approved time frames and scope. You will support development and management of the

transfer pricing

governance framework for all of Technology teams in the bank and work with partners like Legal, Tax, Compliance, Finance, and technology service teams.

What will you do



Leads delivery on multiple concurrent initiatives with high amount of value (benefit/cost), complexity and uncertainty. Manages sub-programs within a very large global program Leads and plans execution of complex transfer programs end to end Leads activities on planning, delivery, and implementation to ensure enterprise-wide strategic goals and objectives are accomplished within approved time frames, scope, and budget Establishes, develops, and maintains strong relationships with stakeholders across the enterprise including Legal, Tax, Compliance, Finance, internal audit, RBC IGA champions within global RBC legal entities Evaluates and provides guidance during the general and detailed planning stages of large-scale enterprise-wide initiatives, developing strategies to ensure all workstreams are cohesive and in line with organizational goals Support the design and monitoring of the initiative's goals. Translates the vision into high level scope, design, and executables. Prepares program roadmap, milestones, to align with executive's directions, regulatory timeframes, and the program objectives Integrates plans at program level creating estimating models as required, refines plan, and manages performance against it. Anticipates and quantifies tactical, operational, and strategic risks applying risk-based approach Establishes a process for the identification of issues. Resolves complex issues and escalates to executive/steering committee and manages resolution as required. Manages program level communications including status reports to executive stakeholders. Provides senior management with timely updates on operational program risks & issues

What you need to succeed



Must have:



Demonstrated leadership ability, with at least 5 years of experience managing large programs in a global matrixed environment as part of a publicly traded corporation Deep understanding of global transfer pricing regulations, guidelines and best practices Superior organizational, project management and time management capabilities Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills and effective strategic problem-solving, and facilitation skills Experience collaborating with Tax, Finance, Legal and a variety of Lines of Business implementing and maintaining robust intercompany pricing polices/methodologies Oversea preparation and maintenance of transfer pricing documentation, ensuring compliance within local requirements A strong understanding of technology and/or financial services industry Expert ability to manage competing priorities involving cross-regional stakeholders Self-driven and proactive; able to meet consistently high-quality standards with simultaneous workstreams Ability to present and communicate with leadership teams. Strong PowerPoint and Excel skills Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting CompSci or related degree
