- Promoting IRS and ensuring health, safety, environment and community (HSEC) objectives for Kidd Operations' employees and contractors are met;
- Coach, mentor, and set expectations for frontline supervisors in areas of safety, productivity, quality of work, Human Resources and the environment;
- Implement improvement strategies to ensure production targets are achieved ;
- Direct daily and weekly schedule and set performance expectations with process frontline supervision and follow up on daily execution;
- Recommend and implement recovery plan to address anomalies to weekly and monthly plans;
- Lead and implement special projects as assigned by the Superintendent throughout the year; and
- Ensuring the correct coverage within the processes are being maintained by the supervisors to meet the mine plan
- Grade 12 Diploma or equivalent is considered an asset.
- Supervisory Common Core is considered an asset.
- Minimum 10 years' experience in an underground mining environment with progressive supervisory responsibilities is required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Organizational skills
- Ability to measure performance levels and goals for both Kidd Mine and Contractors
