About the role
The Upstream Product Manager will be responsible for driving new product development efforts for the Access Solutions Franchise. They will lead efforts to gather KOL feedback, draft of the Market Specs, Business inputs, identify clinical needs, and guide overall product development. The Upstream Product Manager will represent the broader development team when interacting with physicians at Advisory Boards, Innovation Center visits, animal labs, and other KOL meetings.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing marketing and strategy input to for Access Solutions product cadence over next 5+ years.
  • Defining and executing market research and prioritizing new product development decisions for the franchise
  • Leading Access Solutions market research efforts, including the creation, execution, readout, and recommended next steps from key customer insights.
  • Collaborating with marketing team and cross-functional team members to ensure future development plans will deliver overall revenue and profit objectives.
  • Building business case for future product portfolio and new market opportunities.
  • Influencing Global PM team, Sales Training, R&D, MarComm, and Digital functions to set up Franchise for successful product launches, including providing ongoing support to the sales including education, resources & collateral.
  • Creating collaborative relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, including focus on KOLs, clinicians.
  • Anticipating competitive activities, monitor competitive pipelines, and be strategically respond to competitive initiatives via product iterations and/or marketing campaigns.
  • Adhere to all requirements of the Quality Management System.
  • Demonstrate company values, work with integrity, and be a supportive corporate member.
  • Comply with the Health & Safety policies of the company and inform Management of unsafe working conditions.
  • Other duties as required.
Required qualifications:
  • Bachelor\'s degree required, preferably in Engineering, related Sciences, or Arts
  • 3+ years of successful relevant work experience
  • Proven track record of Physician and KOL engagement
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-based environment and partner with internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to engage and influence cross-functional colleagues, even without direct reporting relationships
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to mobilize key stakeholders and engage leadership
  • Willing and able to travel 20-30% of your time in role, including domestic and international travel
Preferred qualifications:
  • MBA or Master\'s of Engineering is desired
  • Experience in the medical device industry
  • 3+ years of Product Management, Healthcare Marketing, and/or Engineering experience, including strategic commercialization
