This will be a remote role to start, with plans to transition to hybrid in-office 2x/week located in downtown Toronto.

Lead strategic design initiatives that empower restaurateurs with new and meaningful ways to optimise their business.
Drive the evolution of tools that help our restaurant customers engage with their guests and run their operations.
Champion product concepts that expertly balance customer needs with critical business goals.
Become a deep expert in restaurant operator workflows by leading impactful user research with restaurant owners and staff.
Collaborate closely with a smart and dedicated team of product designers, product managers, and engineers to deliver experiences that help restaurants provide truly incredible hospitality for their guests.
Your skills and experience You enjoy solving complex design challenges and are a systems thinker. You have experience designing web and iOS experiences and have an exceptional portfolio that showcases a breadth of product design work. You also have:
At least 5 years of product design experience
Experience leading and facilitating workshops with cross functional partners
Experience designing for enterprise, or have solved for very complex experiences
Experience contributing to a design system
Has designed for web and iOS platforms
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Great visual design skills
Led user interviews and testing of designs
The ability to negotiate, prioritize, and break down design work into measurable outcomes
Expertise in Figma and other prototyping tools
Experience working closely with engineers in an agile environment

There are a variety of factors that go into determining a salary range, including but not limited to external market benchmark data, geographic location, and years of experience sought/required. The range for this Toronto, Canada based role is $125,000-$145,000 CAD. We offer a competitive base salary and benefits including: health benefits; flexible spending account; retirement benefits; life insurance; paid time off (including PTO, paid sick leave, medical leave, bereavement leave, floating holidays and paid holidays); and parental leave benefits.
