Job Title: Procurement & Supply Chain Specialist (Senior)

Location: Richmond, BC

Summary

We are a rapidly growing packaging and food supply company with both B2B wholesale and Shopify e-commerce operations. With Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP recently launched, we are upgrading our procurement and supply chain system.

We are looking for a senior-level specialist who has experience in Chinese e-commerce supply chain and North American procurement operations.

This role works closely with our existing Purchasing Supervisor:

You focus on forecasting, supply chain planning, ERP optimization, and cost analysis Supervisor focuses on daily PO execution and product knowledge
This role has strong growth potential and may develop into a Procurement Manager.

Responsibilities

1. Supply Chain & Inventory Planning

Build forecasting and replenishment models Define safety stock, reorder point, and max inventory levels Improve inventory turnover and reduce working capital Support e-commerce growth with data-driven planning
2. Procurement Support

Evaluate suppliers, negotiate terms, and analyze costs Support sourcing of new products and suppliers Track supplier performance (price, quality, lead time)
3. ERP (Dynamics 365) Process Optimization

Enhance D365 purchasing workflows: PO, approval, GRN, QC, landed cost Document SOPs and process guidelines Ensure accuracy of procurement data and costing Work with BI team to create supply chain dashboards
4. Cross-Functional Collaboration

Work with Online team for SKU analysis and forecasting Work with Warehouse to improve receiving accuracy and QC Work with Finance for vendor payments and cost reconciliation Support Purchasing Supervisor on complex orders

Requirements

Must-have:

Experience in major Chinese e-commerce supply chains 1-3 years supply chain/procurement experience in Canada Strong forecasting and data analysis skills Strong Excel skills (Power BI a plus) Experience with any ERP system (D365 preferred) Bilingual in Mandarin & English
Nice to have:

Experience in packaging, F&B, or wholesale industries Understanding of international logistics and container planning
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $60,000.00-$80,000.00 per year

Experience:

Chinese e-commerce supply chains : 2 years (required) supply chain/procurement experience in Canada: 1 year (required)
