We work with proactive clients who understand the importance of having exceptional staff.partner staffing on behalf of our Client, we are seeking an experienced Senior Process Mechanical Engineer based in Calgary specializing in gas manufacturing with a focus on modular packaging solutions. The ideal candidate will possess deep technical expertise in mechanical engineering, specifically in the design, optimization, and implementation of modular systems for gas production and processing. You will lead major projects, oversee system integration, and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to enhance efficiency, safety, and scalability in our modular packaging environments.RequirementsKey Responsibilities:Modular System Design: Design and implement modular process systems for gas manufacturing and processing, ensuring efficiency, flexibility, and scalability in production.Project Leadership: Lead multidisciplinary engineering teams on complex projects, from design through installation and commissioning, ensuring delivery on time, within scope, and on budget.Process Optimization: Evaluate and optimize mechanical processes and equipment to improve performance and efficiency in gas production.Equipment Design & Selection: Design, select, and specify mechanical equipment such as compressors, pumps, valves, heat exchangers, and pressure vessels specific to gas manufacturing processes.Modular Packaging Expertise: Develop and implement modular skid packages, integrating mechanical, piping, and process control systems in a compact, efficient layout.Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams (operations, electrical, instrumentation) and external vendors to ensure seamless integration of modular systems.Process Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve mechanical issues within modular systems, minimizing downtime and improving operational efficiency.Documentation & Reporting: Prepare detailed technical reports, specifications, and documentation for modular systems and process designs.Qualifications:Education: Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s or Master\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.Experience: 8+ years of experience in mechanical process engineering, with a strong background in modular packaging and gas manufacturing.Professional Certification: Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation in Alberta or the ability to obtain it within a reasonable time.Strong knowledge of thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, heat transfer, and material selection for gas manufacturing.Familiarity with API, ASME, and other relevant standards for pressure vessels, piping, and gas processing equipment.Analytical Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities with a focus on optimizing processes and reducing operational costs.Benefitspartner staffing is Bringing Talent to Business.
