Job Description
Job Duties
- Participate in the technical development of a helium purification system for an advanced nuclear energy project.
- Make process design decisions from a background of knowledge in the field.
- Create P&ID drawings.
- Perform systems design analysis calculations and documentation.
- Model systems using process design software.
- Perform component sizing including pressure relief devices.
- Design for regulatory compliance, particular to the nuclear industry.
- Create and continuously update project timelines.
- Experience with cryogenic purification and cryogenic applications.
- Design of gas purification or treatment facilities.
- Proficiency with process modelling software such as Symmetry.
- Knowledge of Industrial codes relating to the nuclear industry, such as ASME Section III or CSA.
- Drafting software skill, including AutoCAD.
- Knowledge of process control systems including DCS.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communications and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to quickly learn new technologies and standards.
- Knowledge of radioactive gas treatment is an asset.
- A P.Eng is an asset.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
- 8 hour shift
- Bachelor\'s Degree (preferred)
