A career as a Senior Private Banker in the Montreal team at National Bank means acting as a credit expert to a wealthy clientele. National Bank offers a wide range of financial services to individuals, businesses and governments in Canada, as well as specialized services to a select group of international clients. The Senior Private Banker - Private Banking 1859 is located in the Greater Montreal area. Temporary contract for 12 months.
Your Job:
  • Offer solutions and advice on all aspects of wealth management for high-net worth clients and their families.
  • Provide financial expertise and the framework to support the current generations\' needs to grow their wealth for the benefit of future generations and, in many cases, philanthropic organizations.
  • Structure complex credit requests
  • Interpret financial data using a sophisticated analysis and submit financing and credit renewal applications
  • Help grow the Bank's share of wallet and increase profitability by providing banking solutions to National Bank Financial clients, in line with their profiles and goals
  • Rigorously apply processes and procedures to properly analyze clients\' needs, and establish an integrated and profitable financial strategy with them
  • Manage client journey map with the Investment Advisor in keeping with the client base
  • Build client relationships based on trust
  • Guide clients accurately to achieve their financial planning goals
  • Be responsible for the sustainability of the relationship with your clients and ensure profitability of your clients\' portfolios
  • Involve appropriate specialists/parties in the relationship, when needed, to properly meet clients\' needs
  • Negotiate terms and conditions for files that conform to risk management standards and profitability criteria
  • Establish ongoing communication and thorough follow-up with NBF Investment Advisors, to identify IA needs and provide solutions to allow them to maximize sales opportunities with their clients
  • Deliver on the Advisor Promise at all times
  • Provide exemplary service and a client-centric experience that align with our nine wealth management service values
  • Ensure full understanding of the service offering among NBF Investment Advisors.

Your team:
As part of the 1859 Corporate & Private Banking sector, you will report to the Vice President, 1859 Private Banking. Our team stands out for its industry and market expertise.
Prerequisite:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field and ten (10) years of relevant experience, or Master's degree in a related field and six (6) years of relevant experience
  • Knowledge of banking products and services in both personal and commercial banking
  • Exceptional customer service, sales, business development, and negotiations experience
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships
  • Accessible, convenient, proactive, client-centric, agile and accountable
  • Leadership abilities, autonomy, perseverance, teamwork
