TD Wealth, Private Wealth Management (PWM) is focused on the delivery of a legendary client experience to high-net worth (HNW) clients. PWM leverages a distinct discovery process and an integrated team-based approach to build a wealth strategy that reflects each client\xe2\x80\x99s unique needs. members will collaborate closely to fully franchise the client and deliver a full spectrum of PWM services \xe2\x80\x93 Private Banking, Private Investment Advice, Private Investment Counsel, Private Trust, Wealth Advisory Services and Wealth Insurance Services. TD Wealth Private Wealth Management provides individually structured, high-end wealth management solutions to its clients by bringing together the expertise and resources of a team of multi-disciplinary experts to provide greater financial flexibility. The successful candidate will deliver a legendary client experience exclusively to existing and prospective High Net Worth Healthcare clients through a goal based approach. Job Details
The Senior Private Banker- Health Care (SPB) will act as the lead relationship manager for Private Banking (PB) and focus on fulfilling the banking and lending needs of High Net Worth (HNW) clients in the Healthcare segment. The SPB Healthcare will work closely with other TD advisors and partners to integrate these strategies into overarching wealth management plans that add client value and help clients achieve their goals. Key accountabilities include: 1. Client Relationship Management

  • Accountable for the quality of opportunity, quality of information, quality of client experience, and the profitability of each relationship managed.
  • On-board and provide relationship management, deliver superior client experience and integrated financial solutions (borrow and non-borrowing) to an assigned portfolio of (HNW) healthcare clients with an objective of becoming their trusted advisor.
  • Understand and interpret the elements of a client\xe2\x80\x99s financial plan (i.e. advice recommendations).
  • Provide proactive, integrated and customized advice, and create and implement planning strategies to help clients achieve their financial and personal goals.
  • Through an advisory and goal based approach, offer HNW Healthcare clients and prospects integrated wealth management solutions through the services of Private Wealth Management and TD Bank, either directly or through referral to business partners
Job Requirements
2. Business Solution Delivery
  • Recommend plans for and work to achieve annual performance objectives and results for business and personal growth.
  • Contribute to the assigned portfolio\xe2\x80\x99s profitability through strict control of non-interest expense items and profitable pricing practices for credit and non-credit products and services.
  • Use sales and client engagement skills to effectively apply financial planning concepts against each client\xe2\x80\x99s personal and financial situation.
  • Identify and recommend high quality credit structures, due diligence and credit presentation to meet high net worth client needs while balancing risk & compliance requirements
  • Provide timely and effective problem resolution, escalating client issues as necessary
  • Work collaboratively in a team based model to reinforce TD\xe2\x80\x99s and PWM\xe2\x80\x99s value proposition.
3. Risk Management and Control
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge and understanding of PB, TDBG policies and procedures, industry trends and protect the interests and reputation of TDBG and its clients by continuous compliance to them.
  • Mitigate risks identified and make credit recommendations and decisions that are in accordance with sound credit-granting principles and in compliance with the Bank\xe2\x80\x99s philosophy and principles and in accordance with the Bank\xe2\x80\x99s Policies & Procedures
  • Be the subject matter expert in all areas of complex credit and maintain controls for operational risk
  • Deliver high quality recommendations for credit structure, due diligence and credit presentation to meet risk & compliance requirements
4. Business Development
  • Accountable for contributing to the market business plan and supporting strategies by effectively managing the retention and expansion of existing relationships and attracting new clients with an objective of profitably growing the overall revenue.
  • Represent Private Wealth Management and TDBG to the general public in a professional manner
  • Participate in the local community by acting as a brand ambassador in support of TDBG charities and initiatives.
  • Contribute to market leadership by acting as a mentor to team members and partners
Additional Information
Additional Qualifications
  • University degree or equivalent job-related experience
  • Financial Planning designation, or in progress
    MFDA License, or in progress
  • Demonstrated expertise in complex personal and business credit lending
  • Private Banking, Small Business or Commercial banking experience an asset
  • Specialized knowledge and expertise in serving the financial needs of Healthcare professionals
  • Experience in providing advice & solutions to High Net Worth clients (both personal and business)
