The Government Client is seeking a Senior Privacy Impact Assessment (PIA) Specialist with deep expertise in privacy legislation and digital health systems to lead privacy evaluations and compliance activities for high-impact healthcare initiatives.

Must-Haves:
Strong understanding of Ontario's privacy laws (PHIPA, FIPPA) and their application to personal health information (PHI)
Demonstrated experience conducting or leading PIAs in healthcare settings
In-depth knowledge of Ontario's digital health landscape, including systems, vendors, and solutions
As a key advisor, you will assess projects for compliance with legislation and data-sharing frameworks, support policy development, and guide teams on privacy best practices. You will interpret and apply regulatory obligations, review PIA recommendations, and provide strategic advice to stakeholders across ministry branches. Your responsibilities include preparing briefings, coordinating across technical and business teams, supporting change management, and ensuring privacy frameworks align with digital health transformation efforts. This role requires superior communication skills to engage both privacy professionals and non-technical audiences and the ability to evaluate impacts on identity services, patient portals, authentication mechanisms, and provincial electronic health records (EHRs).
