About the Opportunity
Our Halifax based client is seeking an experienced Senior Pricing Analyst to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing RFPs, determining labor and overhead rates, and developing effective bid strategies. Your expertise in pricing analysis and financial modeling will be crucial in ensuring competitive and profitable pricing for their organization.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Lead the pricing process for large-scale RFPs
- Analyze internal and external stakeholder requirements, and contract terms to develop pricing strategies
- Determine labour and overhead rates by conducting thorough cost analysis
- Collaborate with finance, accounting, and operations teams to ensure accurate cost estimations
- Develop and maintain financial models and tools to support bids and proposals (pricing analysis, cash flow, risk assessment, business case analysis etc.)
- Monitor and analyze the performance of pricing and bid outcomes, identify areas for improvement and recommending adjustments
The successful candidate will have the following:
- Bachelor\'s degree in finance, business administration, economics, or relevant years of experience
- 6+ years in a similar role, preferably in a position dealing with government contract pricing
- Familiar with 1031-2 (CDN) and FAR 31 (US) contract cost principles
- Experience with PSPC rates and cost audits
