About the role

Branch Location: 407-8th Avenue SW, Calgary

In this role, you will manage our highest value clients where professionalism, client focus and a broad understanding of the fundamentals of financial planning are critical to the success of the business. It will also entail reviewing client portfolios regularly to ensure solutions still meet clients\xe2\x80\x99 needs, and embed client loyalty by meeting those needs either directly or through other internal business partners.

The Senior Premier Relationship Manager will own the HSBC client relationship by being responsible for acquiring and developing new business as well as retaining relationships with current Premier clients.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a deep understanding and technical knowledge of relevant products and services available from HSBC Group sources and elsewhere, in order to provide the best solutions for clients.
  • Identification of opportunities for wealth reviews, and delivering wealth solutions
  • Maintain highest standard of excellence in client service across the team and with individual portfolio
  • Ongoing analysis of client portfolios through marketing of ideas and researching clients
  • Monitor client satisfaction data and implement portfolio level improvements
  • Ensure achievement of business performance measures by delivering differentiated products and services to the client
  • Deliver fair outcomes for our customers and ensure own conduct maintains the orderly and transparent operation of financial markets.
  • Collaborate with the wider team to deliver the Branch Wealth and Personal Banking Performance measures and plan to support the multi channel client journey
  • Promote an environment that supports diversity and reflects the HSBC brand
  • Manage operational risk by using relevant Management Information to identify risk situations and take any appropriate action to minimize loss
Requirements
  • Minimum of five years proven and progressive financial services and/or retail sales experience or equivalent
  • Evidence of strong sales results in lending, insurance and investment products
  • Relationship management experience with high net worth clients
  • Strong technical skills in wealth management
  • Strong sales orientation, networking and portfolio management skills
  • Sound knowledge of financial services products and services and the client relationship management system
  • Good knowledge of personal investment and credit financing
  • Clear view on how to work with cross-functional teams including, Compliance, Credit & Risk and Internal Control to ensure a balanced risk operating environment
  • Bachelor\'s degree or equivalent experience
  • Supporting branch hours Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5:00pm.
Licencing/Accreditations
  • Must have Mutual Fund Licensing completed:
  • Investment Funds in Canada Course; Canadian Investment Funds Course; or Canadian Securities Course; and Mutual Fund Skills Builders Course and
  • Personal Financial Planning Designation (PFP);
