Senior Plant Operator / Plant Supervisor - Responsibilities
Supervise daily operations including receiving, grading, storage, and shipping
Monitor inventory and coordinate timely, accurate distribution
Collaborate with logistics teams to manage shipment coordination
Lead, train, and support staff including operators and maintenance team
Provide coaching, performance feedback, and development opportunities
Promote a strong safety culture and continuous improvement mindset
Enforce safety protocols and maintain regulatory compliance
Conduct regular safety meetings and training sessions
Manage preventive maintenance programs and ensure equipment uptime
Optimize machinery performance to minimize downtime
Work closely with QA teams to uphold product standards
Develop and implement quality control procedures
Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, farmers, and clients
Ensure smooth transactions and proactive issue resolution
Maintain accurate records and prepare production reports for leadership
Senior Plant Operator / Plant Supervisor - Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Business Management, or related field (preferred, not required)
Proven experience in grain elevator, ag processing, or manufacturing environments
Strong leadership and decision-making skills, with ability to motivate a team
Familiarity with agricultural safety regulations and compliance requirements
Proficiency with operational software and reporting tools
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
Physically capable of handling grain-related tasks
Resourceful, hands-on problem-solver with technical knowledge
