Duties: Senior Pharmacy Assistant: candidate will be in charge of contacting patient that a specialty med is ready to be dispensed. Obtaining all required insurance aspects. Arranging for shipping/delivery directly to patients. Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent - Certification as a pharmacy technician - Previous experience working in a retail pharmacy - Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in performing tasks - Ability to multitask and prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment - Strong communication skills, both verbal and written - Ability to work effectively as part of a team As a Senior Pharmacy Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the pharmacy team in delivering high-quality patient care. Your responsibilities will include first line communication with all patients, assisting pharmacists with medication dispensing, adjudication to insurance, arranging delivery addresses and preference, providing excellent customer service.
