Do you want to be a part of driving the transition?Aker Solutions is actively seeking a Senior People and Organization Advisor to join our team in the St. John\'s team.What will you be doing?

• Mentor personnel within the people and organizational team.
• Deliver people and organization services/functions while ensuring compliance with corporate policies, client specifications, and regulatory/legislative requirements within the business areas.

• Responsible for recruitment, immigration, special project requirements, diversity programs, and employee relations for the assigned departments.
• Champion and support alignment of local area requirements to Aker Solutions\' governing policies and procedures.
• Communicate and promote Aker Solutions\' P&O programs to various stakeholders.
• Support department leads with resource strategies such as learning, training, employee development, performance management, and workforce planning

We think you should have:

• HR Business Management diploma or BBA, or B. Comm and or/an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience,
• Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) designation is considered an asset.
• Minimum ten years experience in a Human Resources profession/role.
• Strong understanding of applicable legislation and regulations.
• HR Professional with the highest level of ethical practice and confidentiality.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work with people at different levels, including department managers.
• Ability to create effective, trusting relationships with clients.
• The capability to research, analyze, and make logical decisions within a given timeframe.
• Skill to communicate information effectively with peers, clients, and management, both verbally and in writing.
