About the Role:




We are seeking a

Senior Pension Education Specialist

to join our Pension Education team and support CAAT's overall pension education strategy.


This role is responsible for developing and delivering informative, engaging education experiences that deepen the understanding of the CAAT Pension Plan and support informed decision-making. This position also leads team planning, content development, cross-functional collaboration, and coaching of peers to ensure a high-quality learning experience for all members and employers.

As the Newest Member of our Team, You'll:



Be a subject matter expert on CAAT's plan provisions, translating complex information into clear and relatable content for our members and employers. Deliver live and remote education sessions across member and employer audiences (e.g., onboarding, retirement, purchases, GROWTHplus) that build clarity, trust, and engagement. Provide both individual and group education to members, unions, and employers, customizing content by audience type (e.g., pilots, factory workers, union partners) and career stage. Create and manage educational materials--slides, scripts, FAQs, promos, and digital tools--using adult learning principles and layered design to support diverse learning styles. Collaborate cross functionally across departments to ensure consistent messaging, content sequencing, and delivery formats across the organization, Leverage feedback and data insights to refine learning content, support strategic improvements, and maintain a well-organized inventory of educational resources. Act as a mentor to junior team members and peers on effective presentation techniques, learning and design principles, and content accuracy.

To Succeed, You Bring:



College diploma or university degree in education, communications, business, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Five to eight (5-8) years of experience in pension, financial services, or adult education. Including group facilitation and training design. A broad knowledge of defined benefit and defined contribution pension plans and other retirement savings arrangements as well as pension administration policies and risks. Experience with Microsoft 365 and online education platforms (e.g., Teams, Zoom, webinar tools). Strong communication skills (both written and verbal) with the ability to simplify complex information. Demonstrated excellence in facilitation, public speaking, and adult education delivery. A current driver's licence valid in Ontario is required and a willingness to travel within Ontario and across Canada. Ability to communicate in French is considered an asset Progress toward or completion of CEBS, PPAC, CBP, CFP, or a related designation is preferred.
