Manage and maintain Oracle 12c & 19c databases for optimal performance and security.
Set up and oversee Oracle RAC/Grid and multi-tenant environments.
Handle RMAN backup and restore processes.
Implement encryption (ASO/TDE) and manage Oracle Data Guard.
Tune SQL queries and databases for improved efficiency.
Use Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) for monitoring and alerting.
Develop UNIX shell scripts for database automation.
Oversee MS SQL Server installations and configurations.
Address database incidents and changes following best practices.
Work with IT teams to support database-related projects
QualificationsBachelor\'s degree in computer science or related field.
Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) preferred.
10+ years in database administration with Oracle 12c & 19c.
Proficiency in Oracle Database technologies, including RAC/Grid and ASM
Experience with MS SQL Server
Knowledge of UNIX and shell scripting
Programming Languages: SQL, PL/SQL
Key Skill are RMAN backup/restore, data encryption (ASO/TDE)
Experienced in Oracle Data Guard, OEM configuration and management including SQL performance tuning
Employment DetailsSalary: $65.00HR - $75.00HR
Benefits: 37.5 Hours Weekly, Contract, Fulltime, Hybrid
Schedule: 8:00AM to 5:00PM, Monday to Friday (1 Hour Lunch)
Other: 8 months contract, possibility of extension
