What you\xe2\x80\x99ll do:

You will be responsible for leading the Operational Support Analyst team, ensuring excellence in crop protection/seed supply chain and customer experience, and collaborating with various ag stakeholders.

Order Procurement and Delivery Excellence

  • You will be ultimately accountable for timely, accurate order process, from intake to delivery. This will include leading the execution for FCL booking programs to local Co-ops, securing orders with the objective of achieving annual sales/margin targets, through forecasts and analytics from local Co-ops
  • You will be working closely with the Senior Manager, Operational Support to monitor execution of orders/contracts (involving FCL, Local Co-ops and manufacturers) to determine CRS exposure and take necessary steps when exposure exceeds acceptable levels.
  • You will be responsible for navigating the supply chain to ensure that product arrives on-time or alternative products can be found/delivered to local Co-ops to ensure solutions are provided for front line customers.
Industry Expertise: Customer Guidance
  • You will lead the operational team to deliver the Ag Solutions\xe2\x80\x99 value proposition to local Co-ops and to suppliers by acting as an expert liaison who can navigate Crop Protection and Seed Market letters. This will include analyzing, overseeing and communicating competitive trends, providing logistical updates, and gathering market data on a regional level to provide local Co-ops with strategic recommendations on competitive pricing, logistics, supply and inventory issues.
  • You will be accountable to provide timely data-supported product positioning recommendations, in collaboration with other stakeholders, enabling local Co-ops to make informed purchasing and marketing decisions that are supportive and aligned with the overall CRS strategy.
  • You will provide input and recommendations to the Senior Manager, Operational Support in the development of the annual wholesale crop input business plan as well as the annual budget. You will also provide input and clarity via quarterly progress reports. This will be accomplished through competitor and market analysis, including an evaluation of products and services to be provided.
Leading the Team
  • You will lead, train and coach the OSA team. This will include building and fostering a culture of customers service excellence, integrity, and responsibility with each interaction with local co-ops, to maintain alignment on key initiatives.
The Trusted Advisor; Champion of Customer Experience
  • You will ensure the highest level of customer service excellence to local Co-ops.
  • You will lead by example with travel to local Co-ops to build in-person relationships, further fostering trust with local Co-op locations.

Who you are:

You are looking for a career in Sales & Marketing and:
  • You have a Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in Commerce or Agriculture.
  • You have a minimum of 8+ years of progressively responsible experience in agriculture sales, purchasing or marketing (a combination of relevant education and experience may be considered)
  • There will be a preference for crop input industry experience.
  • You\xe2\x80\x99re honest and trustworthy, are results oriented and strive to be the best in what you do.
