ADGA is currently looking for a full time Network Engineer to join our team and provide support to a large, multi-year Defence program that we have been supporting for 20+ years!

Tasks include:

  • Perform network requirements analysis and definition.
  • Collaborate with other technical and engineering staff on any network requirements or architecture adjustments.
  • Recommend and evaluate network engineering changes and perform a system impact analysis.
  • Analyze and implement network Change Requests.
  • Analyze and resolve identified network related System Problem Reports.
  • Design, develop, and integrate network level modifications.
  • Conduct "by and try" evaluations.
  • Perform system prototyping, modeling and simulation
  • Support network architecture design.
  • Provide support to network testing.
  • Provide support to the development of standard operating procedure documentation.
  • Provide system acceptance support.
  • Provide V&V support on network configuration items.
  • Prepare network topology, engineering and design diagrams and accreditation documentation.
  • Perform any other work related duties.
Qualifications
  • A valid Secret level 2 government security clearance and a Controlled Goods Certificate is required to start.
  • Minimum of 5 years of demonstrated experience as a Network Engineer on Military Command and Control Software system (might have flexibility one this requirement)
  • Proof of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Math) Bachelor\'s Degree in network, software, computer, systems, electrical or a suitable engineering or technical field required to support Land C4ISR.
  • At least 6 years of experience within the last 10 years with at least 4 of the following assessment criteria:
  • analyzing, designing and implementing network system architectures.
  • network engineering and network systems security (hardware, software and network) including cryptographic key, devices, hardware, firmware or software that embodies or describes cryptographic logic.
  • network engineering for Real-time systems, Distributed Systems, embedded systems or mission critical system environments.
  • network architecture directly related to implementation practices such as layer 2 nomenclature, routing protocol selection, security protocols and deployment models in a high security environment.
  • analyzing, designing, integrating, testing and implementing communications network.
  • life-cycle management of network systems, and
  • employing a computer modelling and simulation tool to complete network and/or wireless communications performance studies or protocol development.
