Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) is hiring a Senior Network Automation Specialist on a permanent basis in our Infrastructure & Operations Department. Are you a big picture thinker? We are looking for someone who will be responsible for architecture, design, implementation and maintenance of automation for the FCL networking environment. This position is a remote opportunity and can be based across Western Canada. What you\xe2\x80\x99ll do:

• Provide a mid-range roadmap and direction on the network automation environment for FCL.
• Work with various systems across the Co-op Retailing Systems (CRS) to increase efficiency and act as the subject matter expert as for Network Automation and Networking.
• Manage the network automation for the retail environment, primarily focusing on the Meraki platform and related scripting, API interfaces as well as the development of GUI based environment.
• Responsible for troubleshooting and problem-solving technology problems within the FCL network automation programming.
• Working with the Network Manager and Network team to identify problem areas and lead the implementation of programming solutions.

Who you are: You are looking for a career in Information Technology and:

• Have a Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in Computer Science, Business, Finance or a related field.
• Have 6-9 years experience in Network Automation (a combination of relevant education and experience may be considered.
• Have working experience with Meraki API REST/RESTCONF APIs.
• Have experience with scripting languages such as Python, Postman Perl, Linux, Unix.
• Working experience in testing, operation, and development of Network Management.
• Knowledge of Cisco Networking and Security CCNA/CCNP Certification would be an asset.
