We are excited to announce that we are expanding and have recently opened up a Calgary Business Banking Center on the 27th Floor of Fifth Avenue Place in Calgary Downtown Core - with a group of 25 commercial bankers and cash management specialists. This role will predominately be building business in all industries including Real Estate, Energy Services and Diversified Commercial Sectors. You will be part of a team who originate, develop and foster many of Servus\' largest corporate and commercial members/clients. You are experienced at managing complex needs and credit structures. You have a proven track record with established network and Centre of Influence in Calgary. You take ownership for the origination, analysis and negotiating with financially sophisticated companies. • Build and maintain effective relationships with counterparts at other Financial Institutions and credit unions to facilitate loan syndications
• Develop and maintain effective business development efforts with the goal to acquire new commercial and corporate business in the real estate, diversified or energy services sectors and truly help companies to succeed by providing all relevant banking products
• Understand and evaluate complex financial statements of companies and tailor credit solutions
• Lending solutions may include large operating loans, syndicated facilities and complex cash flow based lending structures and may involve collaboration with lending partners including subordinated and mezzanine debt providers.
• Portfolio Management \xe2\x80\x93 prudently maintain within Servus\' risk tolerances and build strong relationship with your existing and new clients/members
• Drive member wallet share with new and existing full service clients/members by establishing, maintaining and growing the relationships using key partners including Cash Management.
• Build and maintain partner relationships with centres of influence, broker network and influential organizations
• Participate in relevant industry associations and networking activities

Requirements To qualify, you\'ll need at least the following:

• Exceptional analytical and financial analysis skills
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to deal effectively with sophisticated clients
• Minimum 5 \xe2\x80\x93 7 years of financial industry experience in mid-market corporate or commercial banking
• Undergraduate degree in business (or relevant field)
• Syndication experience and proven ability to produce effective results working independently with limited supervision while also operating effectively as a collaborative team member
• Possess strong credit underwriting and negotiation skills
• Ability to meet deadlines and establish priorities to manage multiple projects
