Summary

The media industry is constantly changing. Bell Media\'s Business Intelligence team is looking for a MicroStrategy (MSTR) Developer that will be involved in the company\'s analytics transition.

The successful candidate must have :

• solid MicroStrategy experience
• strong coding skills
• excellent communication-collaboration abilities

Key Responsibilities

• Work independently under the guidance of the Project manager and/or MSTR Architect
• Design, develop, and maintain cubes, dossiers-reports based on requirements
• Collaborate with MSTR Architect to ensure data/ MSTR objects requirements are met
• Work to a high standard of design and delivery within pre-determined timelines
• Generate solution documentation for design, training, and support purposes
• Proactive in identifying and escalating issues that will have an impact on the projects
• Support MSTR Architect in creating optimal, maintainable, and scalable architecture
• Take care of quality assurance & user acceptance testing phases
• Provide support, troubleshoot issues, and perform maintenance activities
• Participate and/or lead working sessions with stakeholders to understand their requirements, recommend the best approach, and get approval

Critical Qualifications

• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in business, management information systems, computer science, or an equivalent combination of training, skills, and experience
• 5+ years of experience as a MicroStrategy Developer (Certified Developer preferred)
• Well versed with creating and maintain MicroStrategy schemas, (creating attributes, facts, hierarchies, and transformations)
• Experience in working with and developing intelligent cubes, complex MicroStrategy dossiers-reports using advanced filters, level metrics, and transformation metrics
• Strong/ advanced SQL skills
• Python skills (asset)
• Good knowledge and understanding of database & cloud technologies (asset)
• Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality solutions
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
