Job Description
We're excited to share an opportunity for an existing vacancy as Senior Mechanical Engineer. This role offers a unique opportunity to own full-cycle engineering projects from concept to execution, while remaining hands-on with CAD, manufacturing support, and shop-floor collaboration. You will play a key role in designing and improving mechanical components, leading project execution, and driving product and process efficiency within a high-mix, heavy manufacturing environment.
Daily responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
- 3D CAD modelling and drafting
- Full-cycle project management - planning, execution, delivery
- Creation and maintenance of BOMs, drawings, ECNs and manufacturing documents
- Supporting production and troubleshooting on the shop floor
- Collaborating cross-functionally and working closely with unionized hourly workforce
- Balancing engineering, administrative work, and hands-on shop-floor activities
- Engineering Degree
- 7+ years of mechanical/product design experience
- Strong 3D CAD skills (SolidWorks or Inventor)
- Experience supporting manufacturing environments and working cross-functionally
- Ability to manage projects end-to-end
- Hands-on, humble approach - comfortable working directly on the floor
- Strong problem-solving abilities and resilience in a fast-paced environment
